Yeovil Town make the trip to North Yorkshire this Saturday for a clash with York City.
Oliver Mackey is the lucky duck who gets to officiate the game, he’s jumped between National League and EFL games this season, taking charge of four games at this level, putting a total of 20 names into his little notebook.
We have seen him before, he was the referee for Bath City against Yeovil in the National League South, where if you recall, he awarded the Glovers a (stone wall) free kick late on which Morgan Williams turned home for the winner. Great decision, ref.
He did book Jordan Young and Matt Worthington though.
He’s also had the honour of refereeing one Jude Bellingham when the then Birmingham player was captain of England Under 16s in the 2018/19 season, in a 2-2 draw with Brazil Under 16s.
Mr Mackey will be assisted by Richard Wigglesworth, Adam Burgess and Ben Tomlinson, the latter will be on fourth official duties.
