EFL Official, Scott Oldham will be in the middle when Yeovil head to Chesterfield on Saturday afternoon.

He is well past 400 games as the man in the middle in a very highly thought of career, his career includes an England U18s international with the likes of Morgan Rogers, Cole Palmer and James Trafford in the Three Lions’ squad, plenty of play off matches at League and National League level and the 2023/24 EFL Trophy final between Peterborough and Wycombe.

This season, he’s dished out 28 yellows, and just one red card across his 10 games in charge across Leagues One and Two. He’s yet to point to the spot.

He has taken charge of one Chesterfield game so far, a 1-0 away win at table toppers Salford, three Spirites saw yellow that day.

We’ve only had him in charge of the Glovers three times, most recently he took charge of a 4-0 thrashing handed out to us by Rochdale FC-D and Dom Bernard saw Yellow on that occasion.

He was also in the middle for a 1-0 defeat to Lincoln in League Two in 2019 and in the FA Cup when we drew 1-1 with Port Vale back in 2017. That was in the second round, the Glovers would win the replay and earn a game vs Bradford in the third round.

He’ll be assisted by Mark Dwyer and Matt Archibald with Mehul Karia on fourth official duties.
