There was a distinct lack of first-team fixtures for a lot of teams – as well as Yeovil Town – this weekend, so this could be a fairly brief edition of Loan Watch.

In the Wessex League Premier Division, full-back Corey Koerner made his Sherborne Town debut coming off the bench in the second half of a 1-0 defeat at Hamworthy Recreation. Under-18s’ youngster Josh Haskett was an unused substitute in that match.

Meanwhile in the National League South relegation zone, Will Buse was between the posts for W*ymouth as they picked up a narrow 1-0 win away at bottom club Aveley. We’re still not sure what one of those is.

The result moves the seagull-bothering lot up to third-from-bottom of the division. Jordan Thomas did not play this weekend either with Salisbury having a blank weekend, but he could face Torquay United and Jordan Young when the two sides meet on Tuesday night.

In the Southern League Division One South, young defender Jacob Shore came on as a second half substitute in a 3-3 draw at home to Didcot Town. He also came off the bench in the 2-1 away win at Mousehole the previous Tuesday night.

Also, midfielder Solomon Padmore has gone from Street to Bridport. The Dorset side’s reserve team won 3-1 away at Balti Sports in the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance Senior Trophy yesterday, however, with no team-sheets available, we don’t know if Sol featured.
