Yeovil Town have confirmed the details for their Somerset Premier Cup tie with Bridgwater United.

The game will take place at Huish Park on Wednesday 22nd September, kicking off at 7:45pm

The Somerset Premier Cup is currently held by Weston Super-Mare following their victory in 2018/19 with neither of the subsequent tournaments taking place.

As for the Glovers, Somerset’s only full time football club haven’t won the County Cup since 2005… suggesting it isn’t that high on the priority list.

Should the game end level at 90 minutes, the game will go to extra time before, if needed, penalties.

Furthermore… the rules state Yeovil must play a ‘full strength side’.

Rule 3 (c ) says “Each Club shall play its full strength team in all matches, except for the reserve team strength of Football League Clubs, or be dealt with by the Management Committee and Clubs could be fined up to a maximum of £1000.00.”

Ticket details for the game will be released in due course.
