Yeovil Town Under -18s are off and running for the new season salvaging a point against Fairford Town, to put an end to a run of back-to-back defeats to kick-start the new South West Counties Youth League season.

Played down at Alvington, first half goals from Huzaifa Yousaf and Alec Gawthropp had put the visitors 2-0 up at the break.

But, Alex Stevens was on the double to claw the game back to earn a point.

The Glovers line-up included Aidan ‘son of’ Skiverton.

The Young Glovers are back in action next Saturday morning when they head to face Bridgwater United  who currently sit top of the table with three wins from three.
