Yeovil Town name no trialists in the starting XI for the first half of their opening home pre-season friendly against Cardiff City Under-21s at Huish Park (1pm kick-off).
The Glovers are looking to build on their unbeaten start to preparations for the upcoming season having won 4-1 at Melksham Town in their opening friendly last weekend and drawn 2-2 at National League North side Merthyr Town in midweek.
We understand that trialists defender William Lannin-Sweet, midfielder Jonathon Page and Bristol Rovers academy player Kian Hill are in the squad. There is also a place for Brentford B attacker Kyrie Pierre, but no sign of former Cardiff striker Rhys Healey, who has not been seen since limping off at the end at Melksham.
For the visitors, midfielder Troy Perrett, who was on loan at Yeovil last season, starts but there is no place for fellow former Glovers’ loanee Dakari Mafico.
