Josh Staunton has been named in the Yeovil Town starting XI for today’s trip to league leaders Notts County (3pm kick-off).

The skipper is alongside Jamie Andrews and Matt Worthington in midfield and, as for the rest of the formation, we are guessing – but this is what we reckon.

There is a place for on loan Bristol City goalkeeper Will Buse on the substitutes’ bench.

Yeovil Town (5-4-1):

Substitutes: Will Buse, Lawson D’Ath, Louis Britton, Anthony Georgiou, Malachi Linton.

Andrew Oluwabori is given a debut as part of a front three as Yeovil Town go in search of a much-needed victory against bottom club Gateshead at Huish Park (3pm kick-off).

The on-loan Peterborough United winger impressed coming on as a second half substitute in the goalless draw with Maidenhead United in midweek and lines up alongside Anthony Georgiou and Alex Fisher.

New signing striker Louis Britton is named among five forwards on the bench alongside Ollie HulbertGime ToureMalachi Linton and Ewan Clark.

There is no Ben Richards-Everton in the squad. The centre half is reportedly injured.

For the visitors, former Glovers’ striker Adi Yussuf is named on the substitutes’ bench.

Yeovil Town (4-3-3):

Substitues: Louis Britton, Gime Toure, Ollie Hulbert, Malachi Linton, Ewan Clark.

Gateshead: Montgomery, Richardson, Pye, Gallagher, Conteh, Bailey, Ward, Hasani, Campbell, Harris. Substitutes: Langley, Magnay, Daley, Martin, Yussuf.

New signing Anthony Georgiou is handed an immediate debut as Yeovil Town go in search of three points against Maidenhead United at Huish Park tonight (7.45pm kick-off).

The Cypriot winger lines up in a three-man frontman led by Alex Fisher and supported by fellow loanee Ewan Clark with captain Josh Staunton, fellow loanee Jamie Andrews and Matt Worthington in midfield in a 4-3-3 formation.

Fellow new boy Andrew Oluwabori, who joined on loan from Peterborough United ahead of kick-off, is one of four forwards named on the bench with Ollie HulbertGime Toure and Malachi Linton.

Substitues: Chiori Johnson, Gime Toure, Ollie Hulbert, Malachi Linton, Andrew Oluwabori.

Three changes for the Glovers in personelle as Lawson D’ath returns from injury to replace the suspended Matt Worthington.

Callum Rowe drops out altogether, whilst Max Hunt is once again on the bench with Owen Bevan returning from injury.

Yeovil Town : (3-5-2) (We think…)

Grant Smith

Morgan Williams   Owen Bevan Ben Richards-Everton

Chiori Johnson     Lawson D’Ath   Josh Staunton Jamie Reckord

Sam Pearson

Malachi Linton Gime Toure

Substitutes: Max Hunt, Sam Perry, Jake Scrimshaw, Alex Fisher, Ollie Hulbert.

Yeovil Town have made just one change with Morgan Williams replacing Lawson D’Ath as they prepare to take on Taunton Town in the FA Cup fourth qualifying round this afternoon (3pm).

Boss Chris Hargreaves spoke before the match about taking precautions with D’Ath who was replaced by Williams early in the second half of last weekend’s 1-0 home win over Solihull Moors.

That switch saw Williams go to right wing-back in place of Sam Pearson who moved further forward in to midfield, so we’re guessing that is how the Glovers will set-up today.

On the bench, Callum Rowe is back a month after he was ruled out for six weeks for his third appearance in the Glovers’ squad and his first since the goalless draw at Wealdstone on August Bank Holiday Monday.

Goalkeeper Will Buse, who spent last season on loan at Taunton, is also on the bench.

Speak to BBC Somerset’s Sheridan Robins ahead of the match, Hargreaves said: “Lawson was very sore after the last game and I had to bring him off to stop him doing further damage on an Achilles’ problem, so he’s definitely there in spirit and has been working his socks off to get himself fit.

It would be good to see some of the other lads in the squad, but I have to stay strong and consistent because those lads (who are starting) have put in a real shift in recent weeks.

Yeovil Town : (3-4-3)

Grant Smith

Owen Bevan  Josh Staunton Ben Richards-Everton

                                 Morgan Williams                                                          Chiori Johnson

Taunton Town: Bycroft, Foulston, Grimes, Ball, Chamberlain, James, Jarvis, McCootie, Stearn, Smith, Lucas. Substitutes: Budd, Guest, Warwick, Staley, Sims-Burgess, Staley, Morgan.

There are three changes to the Yeovil Town starting line-up for today’s match with Solihull Moors at Huish Park (3pm kick-off).

Ben Richards-Everton returns in defence in place of Max Hunt, Charlie Wakefield is in for Morgan Williams and Sam Perry presumably replaces Will Dawes, with all those missing out named on the substitutes’ bench.

The formation may require kick-off to figure out exactly what it is, but we’re going to have a guess that manager Chris Hargreaves is sticking with his favoured three-man defence with wing-backs as follows…..

Yeovil Town : (3-4-3)

Grant Smith

Owen Bevan  Josh Staunton Ben Richards-Everton

                                 Charlie Wakefield                                                             Chiori Johnson

Chris Hargreaves has rung the changes as Yeovil Town seem to pick up only their second win of the National League season at Dorking Wanderers tonight (7.45pm kick-off).

Max Hunt, Chiori Johnson and Malachi Linton all return to the starting XI and there is a debut for Will Dawes, signed from Stratford Town for an undisclosed five-figure fee.

The formation appears to be a 3-4-3 with Linton up front alongside Dawes and Sam Pearson, whilst Ollie Haste, recalled from his loan spell at Truro City, is named on the bench.

The left wing-back is missing from the squad with a knee infection.

Winger Will Dawes, signed for an undisclosed five-figure fee from Stratford Town, is named on the substitutes’ bench.

Alex Fisher, who missed the 2-2 draw with Chesterfield seven days ago, is in for Malachi Linton who drops to the bench, while Morgan Williams replaces on loan defender Owen Bevan, who is missing on Wales under-21s duty.

On loan Bristol City goalkeeper Will Buse is back on the substitutes’ bench.

Boreham Wood drew 1-1 at Gateshead in their last outing and make just one change with striker Lee Ndlovu replaced by Danny Elliott up front.

Morgan Williams is dropped for the visit of National League leaders Chesterfield to Huish Park (3pm kick-off) as Yeovil Town revert back to a three-man defence.

Chiori Johnson comes in at right wing-back for his second start with Gime Toure, who was not involved in the 1-1 draw at Eastleigh in midweek, returns up front with Malachi Linton as Alex Fisher continues on the substitutes’ bench.

Williams is named on the bench alongside Plymouth Argyle loanee Finley Craske, making his first appearance in a matchday squad, and the out-of-sorts Charlie Wakefield, who is dropped after a quiet performance in midweek,.

There is still no place for new signing winger Will Dawes, signed for an undisclosed five-figure fee from Stratford Town, and Alex Fisher is also missing from the 16-man squad.

Former Glovers Joe Quigley and Jack Clarke are named in the visitors’ starting XI which is unchanged from a midweek win over Southend United following the overturning of a red card given to midfielder Ollie Banks.
