We can all agree that the end of the season is a shame, particularly for us Yeovil fans, who I can imagine never wanted this season to end! But, with the end of the season comes more excitement in the form of transfers!

Each week, we’ll be covering who has moved where for not only ourselves, but for our upcoming National League opponents, to keep you all in the loop ahead of the coming 24/25 National League season!

Glovers’ Corner

Before we dive into the National League ins and outs, let’s look at the former Glovers that have moved about in the last couple of weeks. We may miss a few, so if any of you see any we may have missed, tag us on Facebook or Twitter (or X), or leave a comment below and we’ll add them in the next week’s round-up!

A few bigger names have moved about, namely Luke Ayling and Paddy Madden. Ayling made his loan move from Leeds to Middlesbrough a permanent deal, while Madden left League 2 champions Stockport County to join National League champions Chesterfield.

This week, we saw two more Glovers move about, as Dale Gorman left Barnet to join Woking, while Myles Hippolyte joined Paddy Madden in leaving Stockport, however he instead joined up with Terry Skiverton at AFC Wimbledon.

Within the National League, Rhys Browne, who made 63 appearances for Yeovil in his time with the club, left Woking to join Barnet as their first signing of the summer.

In managerial duties, Paul Wotton joined Torquay United as their new boss following their takeover, the former Truro boss having made 39 appearances for Yeovil in the early 2010s, meanwhile Neil Coates (who scored that goal in 1992) has been appointed as the new manager of Gillingham Town.

Further off-field movements for former Yeovil men include the duo of Darren Sarll and Carl Dickinson heading up to Hartlepool United.

The additions continued, as defenders Nik Tavares and Joe Grimwood linked up with the London-based side, before midfielder Finley Wilkinson became signing number five.

Goalkeeper Nick Hayes (who faced us in the FA Cup with Southend last season) joined from Ipswich for signing number six, before Joe Kizzi and Joe Rye became additions seven and eight for Barnet.

Previously mentioned Dale Gorman is among the departures, with Courtney Senior also a familiar face for Yeovil fans, he is yet to find a new club. There was surprise among some non-league experts as Laurie Walker was let go as well, who has proven to be a top keeper at this level.

Tamworth

The champions of the National League North have been relatively busy so far this summer, with four signings so far, and only four departures. Tamworth also took an unusual approach, with every single player being out of contract in the summer, so we’ll see the ins and outs trickle in throughout the summer.

Confirmed arrivals include Kai Lissimore, joining from freshly relegated Kidderminster Harriers, as well as Kennedy Digie who joins from Alfreton Town, off the back of their playoff push.

Some familiar names in the departure list include previously mentioned Dillon De Silva, and Manny Duku (who played in Maidstone’s shock win over Ipswich last season); Marcus Dewhurst is a notable name too, one of the top keepers in the division is now a free agent.

Yeovil Town

It would be remiss of me to keep a nice little list of OUR signings! We saw Harvey Greenslade become the latest addition to the squad of the National League South champions (will never get bored of saying that!)

There aren’t too many new departures, with Rhys Murphy the only departure from the announced list to have found new employment as of yet.

One or two departures to make space for the new arrivals, with many still to come I’m sure…
