It’s time to turn our attention to the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round and the Glovers head to Chesham to play for a spot in the first round proper.

Our officials for the game have been confirmed and it’s Mr Scott Tallis who will take charge.

Mr Tallis has been mainly an EFL Referee for this current season, but is well versed in the National League set up… and refereeing Yeovil Town games.

He’s officiated the Glovers six times, and fairly oddly has awarded us four penalties in that time.

The last time we saw him was not a good experience though, it was the 2-1 defeat to Scunthorpe on the opening day of the 2022/23 season – Chris Hargreaves’ first competitive fixture in charge.

He was also in the middle for a sublime Joe Quigley hat trick against Solihull Moors and Quigley benefitted again when he scored from the spot after Luke Wilkinson had been booted into the air by an Aldershot defender early in the 2021-22 season.

Mr Tallis will be assisted by Grant Taylor, Niall Fenton and Ashley Clarke is on fourth official duties.

Mr Tallis decides that kicking Luke Wilkinson really hard, is a foul. Quite right too.
