Yeovil Town welcome Altrincham to Huish Park this Saturday and we need a referee for the game, step forward Mr Ben Atkinson.
This is Ben’s first time refereeing at the home of football, actually it’s his first time looking after a Yeovil game in any capacity. But he has taken charge of one Alty game, a 1-0 home defeat to Gateshead back in 2023 – Matt Gould amongst the Altrincham squad on that day.
He’s been in the middle eight times this season, three of those coming in League Two, he’t not afraid to look to his pocket either. Those three games have seen 14 yellows.
In total his eight games this term have seen 28 yellows, 2 reds and 2 penalties.
Andrew Hickman and Ryan Saward are the assistants, Phillip Eddie is the fourth official – he was also fourth official on Tuesday night for the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Replay.
