Yeovil Town’s Ollie Haste and Benjani Junior have joined Dorchester Town on a season-long loan ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Both spent time away from Huish Park on loan last season, with Haste playing under ex-Glovers’ midfielder Paul Wotton at Truro City whilst Benjani has been at Sherborne Town.
They could make their debut this weekend with Dorchester travelling to Merthyr Town in the Southern League Premier Division South on Saturday.
The pair will be with Dorchester for the entire season, subject to the FA approving the deal, with first-team football – one tier below their parent club in the footballing pyramid – on their agendas
Both played against Boreham Wood on the final day of last season in National League Premier, the match marking Haste’s second game in the National League, and have featured in pre-season for Mark Cooper’s side.
