Striker Alex Fisher has joined National League Premier side Oxford City on a one-month loan, the club has confirmed.

The 33-year-old has started only one game this season since returning from a serious double leg break sustained at the end of last season.

In a statement, the Glovers said the striker had made the move “….in search of more game time after a spell on the sidelines” and his new side have said they expect him to be available for Saturday’s trip to Hartlepool United.

He enjoyed a prolific spell at Oxford back in 2009 scoring 12 goals in 16 matches whilst on loan from Oxford United.

Good luck, Fish!
