There is no Morgan Williams in the Yeovil Town squad for today’s pre-season friendly at Farnborough Town (3pm kick-off).

It is understood the central defender has an injury and has not been risked, but summer signing full-back Jordan Thomas is named among the substitutes against National League South opposition.

There is also no sign of Jordan Stevens, who has been training with the squad despite his release at the end of last season, and has featured in all the pre-season friendlies up until now.

Yeovil Town have named a strong starting XI for the visit of League One side Bristol Rovers for the first pre-season friendly at Huish Park this summer (7pm kick-off).

Former Rovers’ academy product Harvey Greenslade, who arrived in Somerset following his release from the Memorial Stadium, starts alongside Dylan Morgan who impressed in the 5-1 win at Frome Town on Saturday with former Rovers’ youngster.

There is a familiar look to the Glovers’ defence with a back four of Michael SmithAlex WhittleJake Wannell and Morgan Williams, who played the majority of last season’s title-winning National League South campaign, in front of on-loan Southampton goalkeeper Ollie Wright.

On the bench, there is a place for a trialist former Charlton Athletic youngster Jacob Roddy and Jordan Stevens, who has appeared in the 5-1 wins over Melksham Town and Frome as he continues to build his fitness and looks to impress manager Mark Cooper.

There’s no place for summer signing, full-back Jordan Thomas, who was the only unused substitute at Frome Town at the weekend.

Yeovil Town (4-2-3-1): Ollie Wright, Michael Smith, Alex Whittle, Jake Wannell, Morgan Williams, Charlie Cooper, Matt Worthington, Dylan Morgan, Brett McGavin, Harvey Greenslade, Aaron Jarvis.  Substitutes: Matt Gould, Finn Cousin-Dawson, Sam Pearson, Frank Nouble, Jordan Young, Jordan Stevens, Sonny Blu Lo-Everton, Jacob Roddy, Corey Koerner.

Yeovil Town have made four changes as they prepared to lift the National League South title against Dartford at Huish Park this afternoon (3pm kick-off).

Captain Matt Worthington, who will get his hands on the silverware at the end of the game, drops to the bench alongside full-back Michael Smith after both players picked up knocks in Thursday night’s win against Truro City which secured promotion.

There is also no place for midfielder Jordan Stevens or striker Rhys Murphy, who both limped off injured early two days ago. Replacing the quartet are Brooklyn Genesini, Dylan Morgan, Sam Pearson and Alex Fisher.

Striker Jake Hyde, who has been missing since the turn of the year with an injury, is named among the substitutes.

There are two changes to Yeovil Town’s lineup from Monday’s abandoned fixture at W*ymouth.

Olly Thomas drops to the bench, with Jordan Stevens missing out entirely after suffering a hamstring injury during the derby. Sam Pearson and Sonny Blu Lo-Everton return to the starting lineup in their places, with a return to the bench for Josh Owers.

Yeovil Town make one change from the 3-0 win over Torquay with Two-Goal hero Jahmari Clarke missing out on the squad altogether.

Olly Thomas leads the line with Alex Fisher on the bench in place of the Reading loanee.

It’s as you were apart from that,

Jordan Stevens returns to the Yeovil Town starting XI for today’s Good Friday fixture with Torquay United at Huish Park (3pm kick-off).

He replaces Sonny Blu Lo-Everton, who is named among the substitutes, from the team which began the 1-0 win at Braintree Town last weekend.

There’s even more news on the bench with striker Rhys Murphy returning for his first appearance in a matchday squad since January.

Striker Jahmari Clarke is handed his first Yeovil Town start as the Glovers take on third-placed Braintree Town this afternoon (3pm kick-off).

The on-loan Reading youngster is part of an attack including Frank Nouble and Jordan Young in Essex.

In defence, on loan Swindon Town defender Brooklyn Genesini is left back again with Jay Foulston at right back. There is no place for Alex Whittle, who went off injured in last weekend’s goalless draw at Slough Town, in the squad.

Yeovil Town make four changes, as well as a formation change, for their trip away to Slough Town in a bid to end their three game winless run.

There is a debut for new signing Brooklyn Genesini, who slots in at RWB. Jay Foulston slots in at CB, with Jordan Stevens expected to play as a number 10. Another new signing, Jahmari Clarke, is named among the subs. Frank Nouble is the fourth change, as he returns to the starting lineup in place of Olly Thomas, who isn’t involved at all today.

Strikers Alex Fisher and Olly Thomas are paired together up front as Yeovil Town attempt to break a goal-scoring duck which has seen them draw a blank in their last two matches.

The pair are in up front for tonight’s visit from Chippenham Town to Huish Park with captain Matt Worthington filling in at right-back in place of the injured Michael Smith, who suffered a hamstring injury in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at home to Welling United, while frontman Frank Nouble is named among the substitutes.
