It was an end to the unbeaten run for the Glovers, as they fell to a 1-0 defeat at Huish ark against FC Halifax Town. Let’s see how the rest of the league got on…

We begin in East London, where a classic was staged between hosts Dagenham & Redbridge, and a victorious visiting Barnet. Despite leading 3-1 a few minutes into the second half, the hosts succumbed to a pair of Nicke Kabamba penalties, and a Rhys Browne winner to leave them stranded in mid-table. It was chaos at the Kuflink Stadium as 10-man Ebbsfleet United were hit for six by 10-man Solihull Moors, a 15-minute Connor Wilkinson hat trick leaving the hosts rooted firmly to the foot of the table.

There was another hat trick, this time a perfect one, at Boundary Park as James Norwood’s first half heroics led Oldham Athletic to an easy 4-0 win over Tamworth. Gateshead continued their stop-start form under new boss Carl Magnay, as they were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Aldershot Town, while in a top of the table clash, it was Forest Green Rovers who triumphed with a 2-0 win over next weekend’s hosts York City.

The upset of the day came at Wealdstone, as they made light work of an out-of-sorts Rochdale side in a 2-0 win, and by the same score, Altrincham continued their good run of form in a home win over Southend United. In a big win at the bottom, Braintree Town secured a 1-0 win over AFC Fylde, who finished the game with 10 men, and there were two further 1-0 wins for home sides, as Woking and Sutton United defeated Boston United and Maidenhead United respectively. In the final clash of the day, it finished goalless between 10-man Hartlepool United and Eastleigh.
