Yeovil Town have wished striker Rhys Murphy well as the front man joins Dorking Wanderers.

Murphy, whose contract expires at the end of June, scored 15 goals in his second spell as a Glover helping the side to the National League South title.

The Bagsman joins Marc White’s side as they themselves look to bounce back from relegation from the National League Premier.

Murphy falls one short of 50 goals in Green and White in just under 100 games across two spells, a brilliant ratio of goal scoring.

All the best at Dorking, Señor!

Shame that and I wonder why.Perhaps he was offered lesser terms given his injury history.

Good luck to him in Surrey. Assuming this means he turned down the offer of a new contract, to play in the NLS? Money or proximity to family? Either way, all the best, Rhys.
