The National League wasn’t short of goals this past Saturday and it wasn’t just the Glovers’ first team who ended up as a stalemate.
Jordan Thomas was in the starting line up for Torquay United, who went 2-0 up and were leading beyond the 80th minute, before two late goals dragged Boreham Wood back into the game to share the points in a big game at the top of the National League South.

W*ymouth, with Will Buse between the sticks, must have thought they were in for a vital three points at the other end of the table when Malachi Linton put them 2-1 up against Hornchurch, but in the end, Linton was needed to salvage a point late on – 3-3 on the day.

Corey Koerner was on the Glovers bench, so wasn’t involved for Sherborne, however Joe Crisp was on their bench, Jacob Shore was unavailable for Wellington.
George Geraghty scored from the bench for Bridport as they walloped Torrington 6-0.
