Well, we’re a month(ish) into the season and it’s fair to say it’s been eventful. The Glovers started with a 0-0 draw at home to Hartlepool before whimpering to a 2-0 at Forest Green Rovers. An unconvincing win against Brackley followed before defeats by Braintree Town and Gateshead sealed Mark Cooper’s fate. Yeovil finished August with a 3-2 loss at FC Halifax Town on Saturday.

The monthly YeoGov is back now we’ve kicked off so let us know what you’re thinking on sevon-point scale. It’s the usual questions around performance around the club and the optional matchday experience one and this month we want to know if you think the club were right to relieve Mark Cooper of this managerial duties. 

A theme that came up during both meet the owner events last week was around the club identity and branding. 

Some want to see a return to the crest which was replaced in 2024 with the current logo. The change has divided opinion ever since, but there is definitely strong emotions around the previous logo, which was never totally removed from Huish Park.  

We discussed this on today’s podcast which you can listen to here and thought we’d throw out a poll, that IF the club was to offer supporters the choice of keeping the new, or bringing back the old…how would you vote?

It’s time the March edition of the YeoGov Survey (here’s a reminder of the results from February) and once again we want your thoughts about the four weeks that have just been.

In those four weeks, the Glovers turned form around to beat Tamworth, Maidenhead and draw with Southend before defeats against Barnet, Halifax, Boston United and York City this past weekend.

It’s the usual questions around performance around the club and the optional matchday experience one and this month we want to know if the club are performing as you expected for the first season in the National League. 

The results of February’s YeoGov survey are in. Thanks to the 252 supporters who shared their thoughts.

As always we have the usual questions with the scores out of 7 below..

We also asked the question,  How important is it to you that Yeovil Town FC owns the land at Huish Park? to which the result was overwhelming with a score of 6.37 out of 7. The land has always been seen as a key unlock to secure the long term future of the football club and, clearly, it remains of vital importance to supporters.

It’s been four weeks since we last issued a the YeoGov survey – here’s a reminder of the results of that one. Since then the club held the fans’ forum at Huish Park, lost 4-0 to Rochdale, earned a draw at Dagenham & Redbridge and lost to 2-1 Wealdstone at the weekend.

We’ve got our usual questions around performance around the club and match experience (that one’s optional for you Exiles) but we’ve tacked one on the end about ‘the land’. At the fan forum a last month there was lots of discussion around the future of the land that surrounds Huish Park. With a deadline of May 2026 to make the most of the exclusive buy-back, the clock is ticking to purchase the land back from Somerset Council for more than £3m. Our own Ben sent a message in to BBC Radio Somerset’s breakfast show, asking Council Leader Bill Revans about the council’s view on the land.

Speaking at the fan forum, Martin Hellier said: “Whatever happens that land is going to get developed on. When you talk about the rent, I probably pay £100,000 a year to watch people walk their dogs on that land, so it is not my interests. We are well aware of the timeline, we have until May 2026 to buy back the land, we hold exclusive buy-back rights on the land, so no-one can come in and take that away from us.”
