Yeovil Town will play their fixture against Truro City at National League North side Gloucester City on April 11th.

The Cornish side have confirmed they will play all their remaining ‘home’ fixtures on the artificial surface at Meadow Park, a full 195 miles away from their home town.

In a statement, Truro said: “The unprecedented rainfall that has affected the South West over the past weeks has been the catalyst for this decision, to ensure that our home fixture fulfilment needs are met.

As with every decision that has been made regarding venues for home matches since the turn of the year, it was not one taken lightly, but with the club’s best short-term interests in mind.”

The game is the Glovers’ game in hand over second-placed Chelmsford City.
