Jake Wannell and Sam Pearson both return to the Yeovil Town starting XI  as the Glovers take on Solihull Moors at Huish Park (7.45pm kick-off).

Wannell missed last weekend’s dramatic 4-3 win at AFC Fylde through suspension whilst Pearson has been rewarded for his impact coming off the bench in the last two matches. They replace Finn Cousin-Dawson and Josh Sims, who are both named amongst the substitutes.

They are joined on the bench by Wannell’s central defensive partner Morgan Williams who has been missing since suffering a concussion in the 1-0 defeat at home to Rochdale on August Bank Holiday Monday. New signing Dom Bernard, whose late goal proved the winner in Lancashire on Saturday, stays in the starting line-up.

Solihull are unchanged from their 1-0 home defeat to Forest Green Rovers at the weekend with former Glover Matt ‘Roller’ Warburton facing his old side.

New signing Dom Bernard is in the Yeovil Town starting XI for today’s match at AFC Fylde (3pm kick-off).

The former Forest Green Rovers man, who was announced yesterday, is expected to line up in defence alongside Finn Cousin-Dawson, Michael Smith and Alex Whittle, who returns having missed the last three games with a hamstring injury.

The Glovers only name five of a possible seven substitutes with youngster Corey Koerner, who has been playing at Plymouth Parkway in recent weeks, on the bench.

For the home side, former Yeovil loanee forward Gavin Massey, who also arrived on Friday having been released by Port Vale at the end of last season, is among the substitutes.

Finn Cousin-Dawson is handed his first Yeovil Town start of the season as the Glovers take on Boston United this afternoon (3pm kick-off).

The centre-half replaces Morgan Williams who is missing for a minimum of seven days after suffering concussion in the 1-0 home defeat to Rochdale on Monday.

There is no place for injured left-back Alex Whittle, who has travelled to Lincolnshire, with on-loan Bristol City man, Raphael Araoye, starting.

The Glovers, who sent midfielder Dylan Morgan out on loan to National League South side Weston-super-Mare on Friday, name just six substitutes of the seven allowed.

Yeovil Town have made four changes for the Bank Holiday Monday match with Rochdale at Huish Park today (3pm kick-off).

On-loan Bristol City defender Raphael Araoye, midfielder Charlie Cooper and forwards Jordan Young and Frank Nouble are all named in the starting XI having missed the 3-1 defeat at Gateshead on Saturday. Captain Matt Worthington, Sam Pearson and Harvey Greenslade all drop to the bench, whilst there is no place for Jordan Thomas.

The visitors also make four changes including bringing in former Yeovil loanee Courtney Senior to their starting XI. The winger arrived in Greater Manchester in the summer following his release by Barnet.

Substitutes: Matt Gould, Finn Cousin-Dawson, Matt Worthington, Sonny Blu Lo-Everton, Sam Pearson, Dylan Morgan, Harvey Greenslade.

Jordan Thomas makes his first National League Premier appearance for Yeovil Town as they take on Gateshead this lunchtime (12.30pm kick-off).

The full-back, who joined from Hampton & Richmond in the summer, replaces Alex Whittle at left back with forward Harvey Greenslade back in the starting XI in place of Frank Nouble.

Cooper told Ben Barrett that Jordan Young misses out as his girlfriend is ‘expecting today’

New signing Josh Sims has been handed his first start as Yeovil Town take on Ebbsfleet United at Huish Park tonight (7.45pm kick-off).

The Yeovil-born winger is joined by Sam Pearson in the starting XI with Jordan Young and Harvey Greenslade both dropping to the substitutes’ bench having started the 1-0 win at Braintree Town on Saturday.

There is no place on the bench for either midfielder Dylan Morgan, who picked up a knee injury in pre-season, or defender Finn Cousin-Dawson. Both were in the squad for the opening day defeat against Hartlepool United, but neither featured at Braintree at the weekend.

For the visitors, striker Dominic Poleon, who has scored in both of Ebbsfleet’s opening two matches of the season, is named on the bench with former Wrexham striker Kwame Thomas looking like a lone frontman for the visitors from Kent.

Harvey Greenslade is named in the Yeovil Town starting XI at Braintree Town this afternoon (3pm kick-off).

The former Bristol Rovers forward replaces Dylan Morgan who is not named in the squad. still suffering an injury sustained in pre-season. Greenslade is part of an attacking three alongside Jordan Young and Frank Nouble sitting just behind lone frontman Aaron Jarvis.

New signing winger Josh Sims, signed in midweek following his departure from Scottish Premiership side Ross County in the summer, is named among  the substitutes at Essex.

There is no place for summer signing centre-half Finn Cousin-Dawson with on-loan Bristol City man Raphael Araoye and Jordan Thomas the defensive options among the seven substitutes selected by manager Mark Cooper.

Summer signing Brett McGavin has been named in the starting XI for Yeovil Town’s opening National League Premier fixture at home to Hartlepool United today (3pm kick-off).

The midfielder lines up alongside captain Matt Worthington and behind Jordan Young, Frank Nouble and Dylan Morgan, who will be looking to feed striker Aaron Jarvis.

The defence has a familiar feel with central defensive pairing Jake Wannell and Morgan Williams alongside Michael Smith and Alex Whittle, all ahead of on-loan goalkeeper, Ollie Wright.

The Glovers’ bench, which features seven players of which five can be used, includes Bristol City loan defender Raphael Araoye.

On the bench for the visitors are former Yeovil loanees goalkeeper Adam Smith and Billy Sass-Davies, with former Glovers’ manager Darren Sarll in the away dug-out who is assisted by former full-back Carl Dickinson.

The Glovers take on one final pre-season opponent before the real stuff gets underway next week and here’s how Yeovil Town line up.

The highly-successful back four of Michael Smith, Morgan Williams, Jake Wannell and Alex Whittle are back together striker Aaron Jarvis, Brett McGavin in midfield and goalkeeper Ollie Wright the only members of the starting XI who did not finish last season at Huish Park.

There’s no spot in the squad for Dylan Morgan or Charlie Cooper – hopefully nothing too serious there, whilst Corey Koerner is the only member of the Under-18s side in the group.

There are no trialists listed; Jacob Roddy has today signed for Oxford City whilst Brandon Haunstrup is currently playing for Gateshead, listed as a trialist. The former Portsmouth player had a spell on loan in Tyneside whilst a Cambridge United player.
