Jake Hyde has been handed a place in the Yeovil Town starting XI as the Glovers go in search of a record-breaking 13th consecutive win against Dover Athletic at Huish Park today.

The striker, who has three goals coming off the bench in his last five matches, is paired alongside Exeter City loanee Sonny Cox, with top scorer Rhys Murphy and frontman Frank Nouble among the substitutes.

Will Dawes also returns on the left of midfield. He appeared as a second half substitute in Tuesday night’s 3-1 win at Torquay United.

On the substitutes’ bench, play-maker Jordan Maguire-Drew having been left out for the previous two league matches, but there is no place for Jordan Stevens who appeared as a substitute in midweek.

Yeovil Town have made two changes to their starting XI for tonight’s visit to Torquay United in National League South (7.45pm kick-off).

Jordan Young and Sonny Cox both return to the starting line-up in place of Jordan Stevens and Will Dawes as the Glovers look to make it 12 wins in a row with victory over the Devon outfit, managed by former boss Gary Johnson.

Our guess is that Exeter City loanee Cox will be paired alongside top-scorer Rhys Murphy with former Gulls’ favourite Frank Nouble and Young supporting from wide positions.

Both Stevens and Dawes are named amongst the substitutes for the match.

Yeovil Town have made two changes from their starting XI for today’s FA Cup first round tie with National League side Gateshead at Huish Park today (3pm kick-off).

Top scorer Rhys Murphy and fellow frontman Frank Nouble are both named in place of Exeter City loanee Sonny Cox and Jordan Young, who are both named on the bench having featured in the 2-0 win over Braintree Town last weekend.

Alex Fisher is named on the substitutes’ bench, his first appearance since suffering a horrific double leg break seven months ago. He is one of eight of the available nine players named on the bench.

Yeovil Town boss Mark Cooper has made three changes to his starting XI for today’s National League South match with Braintree Town at Huish Park (3pm kick-off).

Exeter City loan striker Sonny Cox replaces top-scorer Rhys Murphy in attack with, Will Dawes back in the starting line-up in place of Frank Nouble and Sonny Blu Lo-Everton coming in to midfield for Josh Owers.

All three who have dropped out from the midweek win over W*ymouth are named among the substitutes.

The visitors, who have won their last two matches, also named a loan striker in Shaquile Coulthirst, who joined from National League Premier side Ebbsfleet United this week.

Yeovil Town have made one change from the weekend’s 2-1  win at Worthing for the visit of W*ymouth to Huish Park (7.45pm kick-off).

Jordan Stevens replaces Will Dawes who went off injured at the weekend.

Dawes is named among the substitutes alongside striker Sonny Cox, who joined on loan from Exeter City last week.

Yeovil Town name an unchanged starting XI for their trip to Worthing in National League South (3pm kick-off).

The only changes from the 2-0 FA Cup fourth qualifying round win over Southend United seven days ago comes on the bench with only five substitutes able to be selected.

As suspected due to the ‘non-traditional’ surface at Woodside Road captain Josh Staunton and striker Jake Hyde sit out, whilst there is no place for new loan signing Sonny Cox who is suffering with illness.

Yeovil Town name an unchanged side for the visit of Southend United in the FA Cup fourth qualifying round today (3pm kick-off).

The only changes come on the substitutes’ bench where Jordan Stevens, who has missed the past two matches through injury, returns.

There is no Charlie Cooper, captain Josh Staunton or Jordan Maguire-Drew in the Yeovil Town starting line-up as they take on Aveley at Huish Park this afternoon (3pm kick-off).

Alex Whittle returns at left back having missed the FA Cup win over Didcot Town seven days ago with an injury, Matt Worthington returns in midfield and takes the armband and Will Dawes is handed a start.

Staunton and Maguire-Drew are both on the substitutes’ bench, but there is also no Jordan Stevens or Cooper in the Glovers’ squad with both presumably among the “bumps and bruises” which boss Mark Cooper spoke about on Thursday.

Aveley: Jonathan North, Jon Nzengo, Eduino Vaz, Siju Odeulusi, Jalen Jones, Harry Gibbs (captain), Matt Rush, Garrett Kelly, Charlie Hughes, Jon Benton, Michael Dada.

Substitutes: Alex Hernandez, Nana Kyei, Tommy Davis, Kenny Aileru, Jason King.

Yeovil Town have made three changes for the FA Cup third qualifying round tie against Didcot Town at Huish Park (3pm kick-off).

Captain Josh Staunton is back in the starting XI having started last weekend’s 2-1 league win at Hampton & Richmond, but does he go in to midfield or defence?

Alex Whittle drops out having gone off with an injury seven days ago, but quite who slots in at left-back is anyone’s guess.

It could be Josh Owers who makes the starting XI or it could be Morgan Williams moving across. We’ll have to wait until kick-off to get the answer.

The other change seems more obviously with Jordan Maguire-Drew coming in for Jordan Stevens, who is not named in the squad at all.

There are five of a possible seven substitutes named with young striker Charlie Bateson, who has been in fine goal-scoring on loan at Shepton Mallet, named on the bench.

He is joined by Will Dawes, loanee Zac Bell, forward Sonny Blu Lo-Everton and goalkeeper Will Buse.

In-form striker Rhys Murphy is recalled to the starting line-up for Yeovil Town’s trip to Hampton & Richmond today (3pm kick-off).

The frontman, who netted a hat-trick in the FA Cup win over AFC Stoneham last weekend, is one of two changes with Jordan Stevens also handed a start.

Captain Josh Staunton and midfielder Josh Owers are both named among the substitutes.
