Match Highlights

Highlights of the 2-2 draw at King’s Lynn Town are now available on the club’s YouTube channel.

If you want to fast forward:

0:22 – Tom Knowles is fouled for an early penalty dispatched by Dale Gorman.

1:51 – Matt Worthington’s straight red card – the referee was well placed but did not give a red until he’d listened to a lot of King’s Lynn players.

3:24 – Charlie Wakefield picks up the ball on the left, cuts inside and bends in a beautiful curling shot.

Watch the rest if you must.

Highlights of the goalless draw at Eastleigh on Saturday are now available to view on the club’s YouTube channel.

The highlights are only 3 minutes 30 seconds long, but the main highlights from the Yeovil side come as follows:

  • 01:15 – A decent chance for ‘debutant’ (for the third time) Olufela Olomola
  • 01:40 – Defender Ben Barclay‘s header comes back off the crossbar.
  • 02:22 – The dust-up between Tom Knowles and Eastleigh’s Ryan Hill which could (should?) have seen a red card shown.

Highlights of the first win of 2022 for Yeovil Town are available now on the club’s YouTube channel, including a lovely finish from Charlie Wakefield (45 seconds) and a silly second booking for Mark Little (2 minutes, 35 seconds).

Also, if anyone didn’t understand Dave’s random reference to Woking being “unable to eat their own dinner” on today’s podcast (think he meant “finish their dinner”) then skip to the two minute mark to see Cards’ striker Inih Effiong’s ‘effort’.

Highlights of the 2-1 defeat at Southend United are now available on the club’s website.

If you want to know where the Yeovil Town highlights are, skip to:

  • 02:15 – the ‘handball’ incident involving Max Hunt.
  • 02:36 – Reuben Reid‘s opening goal, just don’t look at Luke Wilkinson in the build up to the goal, you’ll only upset yourself.

We can’t really recommend much of the rest, I am afraid.
