Yeovil Town have never won a game in which Andrew Miller took charge – actually, we’ve not even so much as scored.
Now, as far as I can tell, none of those defeats are his fault, but we were looking for something to hold on to away at the League leaders and didn’t find what we wanted.
The last time we saw him was back in the 2021/22 season, a 2-0 away defeat to Grimsby where the hosts took the lead from the penalty spot and Dale Gorman got booked (shock!)
There was 2-0 win for Notts County the season before and a rather disappointing 3-0 loss to Harrogate the season before that. Myles Hyppolyte’s red card salting the wounds in North Yorkshire.
As for this season, in eight National League games, he’s dished out 32 yellow cards and one red, with York City’s tap-in merchant Ollie Pearce getting an early bath against Dagenham.
Five of those yellows have come in a Barnet game, their 2-0 home win over AFC Fylde saw a trio of Bees booked.
He’s also taken charge of some relatively high profile games in the Premier League 2 set up, including a Manchester derby and Liverpool U21s v their Man City counterparts, so clearly, he’s very highly thought of.
Mr Miller will be assisted by David Harrison and Stephen Brown, Jack Bloxham will patrol the dug outs.
