Linton’s season over

On loan Yeovil Town striker Malachi Linton’s season is over after he was ruled out for 12 weeks with an injury.

The former Wycombe Wanderers frontman, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has been on loan with W*ymouth since the start of January abe has scored five times.

In a statement to the Seagull Botherers’ supporters, he said: “My time has been short and sweet. I was happy to wear the shirt and gave my all every time I put it on. I’m thankful to the manager for giving me the opportunity, thankful to the players and staff for being welcoming and helping me settle in quickly and the fans for their support home and away. I have faith that Bobby and the boys will finish on a high and I wish the club nothing but the best for the future!”
