A Yeovil Town Legends team will return to Huish Park in May for a special charity match to mark 25 years since the club’s FA Trophy win.
In a statement released to the press this Thursday lunchtime, the organisers of the first legends game, Abby Carter and Kevin Gall confirmed they are getting the band back together.
“The game against a South West Legends XI will once again raise money for the Adam Stansfield Foundation, a charity set up in honour of the striker who scored the Glovers’ second goal in that final at Villa Park.
The match will take place at Huish Park on Sunday 2nd May 2027 with a 2pm kick-off.
Organisers have promised that supporters of all ages can see a host of familiar faces from Glovers’ teams of the past 25 years take on some familiar faces from across South West football.
A special anniversary kit is being commissioned to mark a quarter-of-a-century since the Trophy final which kick-started the Glovers’ push in to the Football League, and a range of sponsorship and hospitality packages are available.
The day will start with a family fun day in the Huish Park Ciderspace Fan Zone from 11.30am with entertainment for supporters of all ages.”
Tickets will go on sale on September 15th priced at:
Adults: £10
Concessions, students and children aged five years and over: £5
