Yeovil Town have been given a bye directly into the 2nd Round of the Somerset Men’s Premier Cup.

The draw for the first round took place on Monday evening and the Glovers were one of six teams given an automatic bye into Round Two.

Bath City v Larkhall is probably the stand out tie from the first round.

Yeovil won the SMPC two seasons ago, when Charlie Lee put out a strong side to lift the cup at Huish Park.

I really don’t know why they persist with that new club badge. Is like a meaningless emblem from a unofficial football computer game, that couldn’t secure the licences. Really hope it’s just used for one year, and got rid of an replaced with an update… A badge actually with our motto under it. We “Achieve by Unity”, that is the bit that does actually mean something.
