Glovers Fixtures Announced

Yeovil Town will begin their first season of regional football since the mid-1990’s with an away game against Hemel Hempstead on Saturday 5th of August.

With the fixtures now released, we know when we can book those big away day trips and where we can dream of getting that final point or win we need to secure our targets.

After that opening fixture against Hemel, our first home game will see us host St Albans on Saturday August 15th.

Boxing Day is a home game against Taunton Town with us heading on our LONGEST away day on the very final day with a trip to Dover Athletic.

Plenty of other key dates catch the eye; the games against Torquay are seen by many at this early stage to be big fixtures. We head to Plainmoor on Tuesday 7th of November with the return leg against Gary Johnson’s men on Friday 29th March, 2024.

We follow that home game against Torquay with a trip to the Seagull Botherers down on the coast. W*ymouth will welcome us on Monday April 1st… where we will hope to make April Fools of them.

The Claret and Blue lot from down the road head to Huish Park quite early in the season, Tuesday 24th October.

We will face the former clubs of a couple of new signings too, Rhys Murphy scored a boat load for Chemlsford before joining the Glovers first time around, he’ll get an early chance to score against them on Saturday September the 2nd.

Jamie Sendles-White was at Welling until recently, our first clash with them is in late November.

The key play-off dates are as follows;
• Play-Off Eliminator A (5th v 6th) – Tuesday 23 April 2024
• Play-Eliminator B (4th v 7th) – Wednesday 24 April 2024
• Play-Off Semi-Finals – Sunday 28 April 2024
• National League North/South Promotion Finals – Sunday 5 May 2024

As an aside, BT Sport will be in a position to confirm their Live games soon, which may impact some fixtures (although, we agree it’s become less likely to be us) and there is a caveat that the New Years’ Day fixture could be moved back 48 hours to December 30th if all parties decide to agree in a timely manner. All Fixtures and kick off times are subject to change.
