Yeovil Town announced their squad numbers for the 2026/27 season.
Given the huge amount of player turnover, there’s little in the way of headline news, but Dan Ellison has moved from 15 to 35 with defender Joe Gubbins wearing the number he also wore at Southend.
It’s the same for Zain Westbrooke who was number 25 at Scunthorpe before heading to Somerset.

Haven’t seen them in person so may not be as bad as it appears from the photos but dark(?) green and dark black/pink leaves me with deep concerns for the 1 in 12 men and 1 in 200 women who are colourblind. FA guidance on kit clashes says that teams should wear kits with contrast, ie light vs dark, and state that red vs green is considered a clash. If we play against a team in, say, a dark red kit, I fear that both the home and away kit options would be indistinguishable from a distance.

No matter what they try, they can’t suit all of the people, all of the time. Personally, don’t like the splodgey grey black all over the pink, it just looks grubby and that it needs a good boil wash.
