Yeovil Town have announced the signing of Bristol Rovers defender Dan Ellison on a permanent deal until the end of the 2026/27 season.
Ellison, who has spent time at National League South side Chippenham Town this season, joins Richard Dryden’s side ahead of the game against Carlisle on Saturday with Bristol Rovers describing the deal as “for a fee determined by performance-based incentives.”
It is actually welcome BACK to Huish Park for Dan who was part of the Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust from Under-7s to Under-16s in 2021.
Having begun in the Trust’s development centre in Warminster, he graduated to the Advanced Development Centre under the guidance of coach Bob Thomas and played for its Junior Premier League sides before going on to forge a career at Chippenham and then Rovers.

A FA Trophy winner with Aldershot whilst Dryden was there, he signed for the Gas in the summer of 2024.
He played for Rovers in the pre-season friendly against the Glovers as part of the “Match for Marcus”.
Ellison will wear the number 15 shirt at Huish Park,
Welcome to Somerset, Dan!
