Yeovil Town Women FC advanced to the next round of the FA Cup last weekend with a 5-0 win away at Mangotsfield United. Terri Will scored one and there were braces for Jess Hodge and Abbie Carslake.

The visitors took the lead after 87 minutes when Adam Mills prodded home after a mistake by Glovers’ skipper Josh Staunton before Morgan Williams salvaged a point at the death.
How exactly do you cut a highlights package down to size when you have seven goals, a plethora of yellow cards… a couple of red ones too, two penalties and two goals deep into added on time at the end of each half..?
Well, apparently you need a fair while, but it is possible.
A stint of four home games in a row comes to an end with a win, a clean sheet, and two ‘first competitive goals’ for Jordan Young and Frank Nouble.

Highlights of Yeovil Town’s 1-0 defeat at Hemel Hempstead Town on the opening day of the National League South season yesterday are now available on our opponent’s YouTube channel.
Nearly 2000 people were in attandence to see the Yeovil Town legends, led by Gary Johnson return to the pitch in celebration of the life and career of Adam Stansfield.
Glovers fans, alongside those from around the area raised loads of money for the Adam Stansfield Foundation and played out an enthrawling 3-3 draw at Huish Park.
The South West side were 3-0 up at Half Time, but some tactical switches and some classic, old school…. urm… motivation from the gaffer inspired an almighty come back with goals from Kevin Gall (he got the ball, and scored a goal), Terry Skiverton from the spot and a last gasp equaliser from Taylor Stansfield.
