Yeovil Town have confirmed their rearranged match with Wealdstone will take place a week later on Tuesday 31st January after tonight’s fixture was postponed due to a frozen pitch at Huish Park.

Having confirmed the game was off following 1pm pitch inspection on Tuesday, the club swiftly confirmed a rearranged date with a 7.45pm kick-off.

In a statement about the postponement, the club said: “The pitch was once again covered overnight and whilst 80% of the pitch is playable, the penalty area at the Thatchers Gold End is frozen. Despite being double covered, it is unlikely to thaw any further in time for this evening’s game.

The postponement means the Glovers’ next game – subject to warmer weather in Essex, of course – is at Dagenham & Redbridge this Saturday, 3pm kick-off.
