We are incredibly proud to announce that the Gloverscast has been officially shortlisted for the Fan Media of the Year award at the 2026 Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) Awards. The FSA Awards are the largest supporter-led awards in the UK, celebrating the very best in football media, playing talent, and supporter engagement. This year, 84 candidates are battling it out across 15 categories, recognising everything from the best players of the past year to standout podcasts and fanzines across both the game.
The scale of the competition is massive, and we are punching well above our weight. In our category, we are going toe-to-toe with some of the largest fan-led platforms on the planet. We are nominated alongside heavyweights like Arseblog and The Anfield Wrap, as well as Alternative Wales, Away Days, and The Pinch. To be recognised alongside platforms – one of which inspired the very inception of the Gloverscast – with such immense backing is an honour and a bit overwhelming to be honest.
Getting to this stage was no small feat (we are fairly sure that Matt Gould’s sponsorship got us over the line). The finalists were selected following an initial open nominations period where fans submitted their favorite creators, channels, and writers. Once all the public nominations were in, the FSA drew up the final shortlist for each category.
Now, the final outcome is entirely supporters hands. Nine of the award categories, including Fan Media of the Year, are decided by a public vote. We need every single one of our listeners, readers, followers, fans of rival clubs of the other nominees and even the bots to get behind us to come close to laying a glove on these behemoths.
Please take a few seconds to cast your vote for the Gloverscast by visiting the official FSA website here. Thank you for your continued support – it really means so much.
