Yeovil Town Under-18s got their Western Counties Floodlit League season underway with a 3-1 win at Clevedon Town on Monday night.

The young Glovers took an early lead when Morgan Alexander put them ahead after just three minutes before Joe Crisp doubled their advantage two minutes before half-time.

Crisp added his second and Yeovil’s third from the penalty spot following a foul on George Geraghty with 68 minutes on the clock before the home side pull a consolation goal back two minutes from the end.

The result looks even more impressive when you consider Clevedon remain top of the Premier Division table even after the defeat. However, the amount of games played by teams in the division differs wildly with this being Yeovil’s first match and their opponents on Monday having now played six times.
