Despite the loss of three loan players and injuries hitting his squad, Darren Sarll thinks it is unlikely there will be any more new arrivals at Huish Park.

Speaking ahead of the trip to Solihull Moors on Saturday, the boss said it would be “very hard” to bring in players to replace those who he has lost.

He added that he would continue to ask “the powers that be” about bringing in new players but questioned whether a further young loan was what the squad needed.

Sarll said: “Do we need another young one? What they need is some help out there and another guiding hand, because Terry and I can’t be in the middle and help them with decisions.

“That is what they need, a bit of help to push them along their way at times, like (in the 2-0 defeat) at Grimsby that is exactly what we needed.

“Maybe in December we will have those key stakeholders out there with them, but at the moment to they need another 19-year-old learner? It might be the only thing that is available to us.

Exeter City loanees striker Ben Seymour and defender Jordan Dyer returned to their parent club after their loan spell expired, while winger Dion Pereira is not returning from Luton Town after his loan was cut short.
