Newport County have announced the departure of ‘Super’ Joe Day on their end of season released and retained list.
The shotstopper who spent the majority of the season on loan at Huish Park quickly became a fan favourite following his arrival in September.
The Gloveman was a pivotal part of the defensive unit that helped the Glovers to promotion from National League South at the first time of asking.
