We can all agree that the end of the season is a shame, particularly for us Yeovil fans, who I can imagine never wanted this season to end! But, with the end of the season comes more excitement in the form of transfers!

Each week, we’ll be covering who has moved where for not only ourselves, but for our upcoming National League opponents, to keep you all in the loop ahead of the coming 24/25 National League season!

Glovers’ Corner

Before we dive into the National League ins and outs, let’s look at the former Glovers that have moved about in the last couple of weeks. We may miss a few, so if any of you see any we may have missed, tag us on Facebook or Twitter (or X), or leave a comment below and we’ll add them in the next week’s round-up!

Since last week’s post, there have been a few more former Glovers moving about! Max Evans, labelled as an “experienced” goalkeeper, has sealed a move to Step 3 side Gosport Borough, while Dion Pereira, who made exactly one appearance for the club, has moved as well (more on him later!)

Max Evans. Pic Mike Kunz.

We’ve also seen Ben Richards-Everton rejoin Gloucester City following a short spell with Bromsgrove Sporting, the former Yeovil defender made 27 appearances for the side relegated from the National League North last season.

National League South champion Jay Foulston was also on the move this week, joining Torquay United as their first new signing of the summer, following their takeover. Finley Craske has also decided to head to Plainmoor. It was announced on Thursday that Tom Knowles would be joining Forest Green Rovers once his contract expires with Walsall, another former Glover also joined Forest Green in the shape of Ben Tozer; Malachi Linton was also announced at a new club, as W*ymouth signed him following his loan spell last season.

Off the field, Steve Collis has joined Notts County as a goalkeeping coach; Collis made 47 league appearances as he deputised for Chris Weale during our rise through the Football League.
