We continue with the theme of debutants in recent Yeovil Town games with the first ever appointment of Matthew McQuillan to officiate a Glovers game. By the looks of his record, it’s also the first time he’s taken charge of a Woking game too.

His season list and all time appearance record shows a huge preference to Northern sides, with games in Gateshead, Altrincham and Halifax in the books this season. He’s only refereed as far south as the Tamworth Lamb Ground.

Four national league games has seen him brandish 13 yellows, two reds (both in the same game between Tamworth and Eastleigh) and four penalties. We won’t hold his record against him though, his man bun on the other hand…

Thomas Holden and Damith Bandara are his assistants, Adam Merchant is the fourth official.
