Here’s something that I’m not sure has happened in the time that we’ve been writing these articles, but our referee for the Tamworth vs Yeovil game this coming Saturday, refereed Yeovil Town vs Tamworth last season!

Dale Baines is the man in the middle and we saw him take charge of these two sides back on February 18th.

That game ended 2-1 to the Glovers with goals from Charlie Cooper and Frank Nouble, he booked Ciaran McGuckin.

We also saw him away at Altrincham last season too, this time a 2-1 defeat for the Glovers.

This campaign, he’s taken charge of just one National League game, a fairly spicy 2-2 draw between Halifax and Eastleigh where he used his yellow card six times.

In total, he’s officiated 92 National League games, and NEVER dished out a straight red card, he’s only issued a double-yellow dismissal once!

Timothy Walker and Jason Roberts will be waving the flags and Neil Pratt will be on fourth official duties.
