Yeovil Town head up the road to Scunthorpe this Saturday as will match official, Richard Aspinall.

If you’re thinking you’ve heard that name before, you’d be right. He refereed our recent match at Halifax Town.

On that day, he awarded the Glovers a penalty – cooly converted by Junior Morias, but it wasn’t enough as the hosts made a comeback in Richard Dryden’s first match in charge following the departure of Mark Cooper.

That was the first time Mr Aspinall had ever taken charge of a Yeovil fixture.

In total, he’s been man in the middle for four National League games, 17 yellow cards have been brandished, but no red ones.
