Rob Massey-Ellis is scoring a Huish Park hat trick by taking charge of his third Yeovil game of the season, when he looks after proceedings with Halifax Town in attendance.

He took charge of the 0-0 draw against Hartlepool way back at the start of the season, as well as the 2-1 home defeat to Aldershot in February of this year – he was a late substitution for that Aldershot game, taking over from Greg Rollason on match day morning.

In total, he’s looked after 30 games this season, across the EFL as well as the National League and Premier League 2 systems.

His numbers read; 115 yellows, 8 reds and 9 penalties.

In those 115 yellows, we have James Daly, Jake Wannell (x2), Charlie Cooper, Jed Ward and Finn Cousin-Dawson.

Fun fact, prior to the game against Aldershot, all previous five game he’d taken charge of the Glovers in, they would ALL end in draws.

He’ll be assisted by Michael Hayden and Huish Park regular with the flag Peter Lowe. Tom Ellsmore will be fourth official.

Referee Rob Massey-Ellis speaks with Hartlepool United captain Tom Parkes during the coin toss whilst Yeovil Town captain Jake Wannell looks on.
