Yeovil Town’s Interim Manager Richard Dryden has been nominated for the league’s September Manager of the Month award.

The official website says the following:

Richard Dryden (Yeovil Town)

Penny for the thoughts of Yeovil Town fans last month after Danny Webb was appointed, and resigned after just a few days. But Richard Dryden provided the calm amid the chaos. He won his game as a caretaker before Webb’s arrival and was handed the job full-time the moment he left.Three brilliant wins suggest things happen for a reason.

W 1-0 Woking
W 4-1 Aldershot Town
W 1-0 Altrincham
W 2-1 Sutton United

It’s worth noting that he was also in charge for the 1-0 away win at Solihull Moors also and that performance deserves a nod of appreciation.

Dryden has been nominated along side Robert Savage (FGR) Luke Garrard (Boreham Wood) and Jimmy McNulty (Rochdale).

It is our opinion that the National League should take into consideration the context that has surrounded the club and award the final trophy to Richard Dryden.

Great stuff, Richard!
