Yeovil Town midfielder Charlie Cooper has joined National League North Side Hereford United until January 5th.

The 28 year old hasn’t featured for the Glovers since the 2-1 win over Brackley back in August and hasn’t even made a match day squad since the departure of Mark Cooper.

Cooper has made 99 first team appearances for Yeovil Town.

Interesting/weird that the official website says he’s off on loan in search of more game time…

Plenty of game time to be found in the heart of our midfield but hey ho. I’m sure he’s just waiting for Daddy to get a new job.

That’s the only reason he was in the squad hes good and all but I feel like he wouldn’t have got as much game time if his dad wasn’t manager he only went to FGR cause his dad let’s be honest Mark is the only reason hes not gone on a downwards spiral from Wealdstone when he was there

I would just like to thank the board & the manager for their openness with the fans regarding this situation. We’ve truly entered a new era of togetherness, which, I’m sure, will only grow stronger as we move forward.

I was thinking about CC the other day, wondering, when he was fit, whether he’d want to play in green and white again and, if he did, whether he’d give it everything or just go through the motions because of what happened with his dad . . . . 🤔

I assume he’s fit enough to go to Hereford and play, therefore he must have been fit enough to train for at least a couple of weeks. My assumption is he couldn’t be bothered to help his team mates out these last couple of weeks! Great professionalism. Better off out of it, don’t rush back!!
