Yeovil Town Under-18s striker Charlie Bateson is looking to continue his red-hot scoring form as the young Glovers take on Wimborne Town in the Gary Else Memorial Cup at Alvington on Saturday (10.30am kick-off).

The frontman has scored six times in his last five matches, including a hat-trick in a friendly win over Sherborne School last weekend, and has eight games in the South West Counties Youth League so far this season.

The Under-18s go in to the tie looking to win their first match in the league’s round robin cup competition having drawn with BRS Coaching and lose at Bridgwater United in their other ties.

In the Junior Premier League, the Glovers’ Under-11s, Under-12s, Under-14s and Under-16s are all in action.

The Under-11s travel to FC Wiltshire, the Under-12s host Juventus Devon while the Under-14s and Under-16s both travel to Bridgwater United in their respective age group categories.

Good luck to all the teams turning out in green and white this weekend.
