Fixture release day is July 9th 2025!

Confirmation of key dates for the 2025/26 season:
Fixture Release Day – Wednesday 9 July
Opening Day – Saturday 9 August
Closing Day – Saturday 25 April
Promotion Finals – Saturday 9 May/Sunday 10 May

Yeovil Town Women have had their division and opponents confirmed for the 2025/26 season following the FA’s League Allocations were released.

Like last year the Glovers will play in the South West Regional Football League – Divison 1 South.

This is the equivalent of Tier 6 in the Women’s game.

Some new opponents this season including Appledore – which sounds like a dessert Harry Potter might eat – Banwell and Wells City.

Fixture specifics, dates, venues and all that jazz will follow in time.

Tickets for Yeovil Town’s pre-season friendly against Weston-super-Mare are now on sale.

The Glovers head to the Optima Stadium on Saturday 2nd August 2025 for a 3pm kick-off.

It might all be a bit of hot air, and there’s every chance it all blows over, but Yeovil Town have been linked with striker James Gale.

Sports Journalist Pete O’Rourke has suggested that the Mansfield Town forward has a number of contract offers on the table, including from Gateshead, Altrincham, Aldershot… and the Glovers.

Gale does have another year on his contract at the Stags, having extended his deal in the summer of 2024, so a fee could well be involved if any move were to come to fruition.

He scored six goals in 30 games in the National League in the season just gone, he spent time at both Boston and Solihull on loan, but oddly, missed both games against Yeovil when his sides headed to Huish Park.

How true any of this is, we have no idea, but it’s nice to fill the summer void with a little bit of transfer rumour and speculation, isn’t it?

Yeovil Town will host Bristol Rovers in a dedicated ‘Match for Marcus’ during the upcoming pre-season.

The game is set for Saturday 19th July with a 3pm Kick Off.

Marcus Stewart is considered something of legend of both sides and with the front man leaving the Glovers’ coaching staff this summer the friendly will be dedicated to his legacy at both clubs as well as his ongoing battle with Motor Neurone Disease and the fundraising campaign he has undertaken.

Yeovil hosted the Gas as a part of the pre-season campaign last season too, with Rovers coming out 3-0 winners, one of their goals scored by one Kofi Shaw.

Tickets will be available soon.

Yeovil Town will head to Hardenhuish Park on Saturday, 12th July for a pre-season friendly against Chippenham Town.

The Glovers take on their second National League South team during the pre-season campaign having already booked in a trip to Bath City.

Yeovil faced Chippenham twice during the title winning season during 2023/24, losing 3-1 at home and only managing a point away from home.

Tickets will be available via online ticket purchasing as well as on the gate on the days of the games. Details of how to purchase online tickets will follow as soon as possible.

On the gate prices will be:

  • £15 Adults
  • £10 Concessions
  • £6 Juniors (16 and under)

On-line prices will be:

  • £12 Adults
  • £8 Concessions
  • £5 Juniors (16 and under).

Yeovil Town will head to Weston-super-Mare in early August for a pre-season fixture.

The Glovers will be at the Optima Stadium on Saturday 2nd August with the game kicking off at 3pm.

This is the fourth away friendly of the schedule so far, with Exmouth, Sherborne and Bath already in the diary.

The Glovers and Gulls met twice during the 2023/24 National League South campaign; a 2-1 home win (another Morgan Williams last gasp winner) and a 3-2 away win in a pair of competitive games.

The Glovers will come up against former players Will Dawes, Sam Pearson and Louis Britton for the game.

Ticket details to follow.

What’s better than two pre-season friendlies to look forward to? That’s right, THREE!

Yeovil Town head to Twerton Park on Saturday 26th July to take on Darren Way’s Bath City.

The Romans remain in the National League South where, of course the two sides crossed paths last season, goals from Frank Nouble and Jordan Young securing the points at Huish Park, whilst a late Morgan Williams goal secured the goods away from home.

Tickets for the pre-season game are not yet on sale, but we do know that the game will kick off at 3pm.

What’s better than one friendly to look forward to? That’s right. Two!

Yeovil Town will kick off their pre-season campaign away at Exmouth Town of the Southern League Division One South.

The Glovers will head to Southern Road on Saturday July 5th – for a 3:00pm kick off.

Exmouth are managed by former Torquay United player Kevin Hill, who played over 150 times for the Gulls where he was a regular team mate of Chris Todd and Chris Hargreaves.

Ticket details are yet to be confirmed.

This is in addition to a Wednesday night match against Sherborne Town a few days later.

No sooner does one season end, another cranks into gear.

Yeovil Town will take in a midweek trip to the GMS Windows Arena to face Sherborne Town during pre-season.

The game takes place on Wednesday 9th July with kick off at 7:30pm

The two sides have worked closely over recent seasons with plenty of young Glovers, including Corey Koerner, given plenty of exposure to senior, Men’s football.

Tickets for the game are just a fiver for adults, concessions can get access for £2, under 16s are admitted for free.
