Defender Kyle Ferguson has returned to Yeovil Town after becoming the second permanent signing of the summer at Huish Park.
The 25-year-old, the son of former Scotland midfielder, Barry, impressed during a four-match spell on loan from Rochdale at the end of the 2024-25 season and was released by the Greater Manchester club in May.
The 6’4″ defender was confirmed as signing a one-year deal in the announcement made by the club on Monday afternoon. He becomes the second signing to pen a 12-month contract following the signing of striker Tahvon Campbell last week.
Speaking about the signing, manager Mark Cooper said: “Kyle settled in really well during his loan spell and showed us exactly what he’s about. He’s strong, intelligent on the ball, and a great character to have around the group. We’re pleased to have him back on board permanently.”
The Glovers set to return to pre-season training on Tuesday ahead of their first friendly fixture against Exmouth Town at the weekend.
Welcome back, Kyle!
Very happy with this signing, though I wonder if his Dad is happy with him playing in Green & White hoops..
