Bhavna Vohra, the wife of Yeovil Town owner Prabhu Srinivasan, has been appointed a director of Yeovil Town Holdings Limited.

The filing on Companies House means she is the second director, alongside her husband, of the company which holds the exclusive buy-back rights for the land at Huish Park.

The paperwork does not tell us much else except that Bhavna is Indian and based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates – but we knew that.

When Inflection Holdings, the company which the Srinivasans used to complete the takeover, were confirmed by a Companies House listing earlier this month, Prabhu was also appointed a director of Yeovil Town Football & Athletic Club Limited, the business which does the club’s day-to-day business.

Speaking at the Fans’ Forum event on June 13th, Bhavna spoke about her hopes for the new ownership to grow its links with the community.

She said: “There are a lot of visions we have with the community. Over the last few days we have been working on what we want to do, we have been speaking with a lot of fans, a lot of people in the community to see what it is we can do with you and how we can do it.

For us this is not just a club, this is history and it is history we want to contribute to and bring it to another level for the next generation and we want to get involved in things like the (Memory Lane) breakfast morning for adults (living with dementia and their carers).

There is no end of things we want to do with the community because, with the welcome we have received, we feel we are already a part of it.”
