Yeovil Town’s home game against Southend United, scheduled for April fools Day – April 1st has been selected for TV Coverage by BT Sport.

The game has been shifted from a 3pm to a 5:20pm kick off as a result.

You’ll be able to tune in and see how the presenters butcher the name “Huish” following the conclusion of their Football Goals programme covering the 3pm games.

With BT Sport showing the opening game of the Glovers’ 2022/23 season live on TV, the club have confirmed that the game will shown in the Alec Stock lounge for Yeovil fans to enjoy.

The tea-time game from Glanford Park will be the first competitive game under the watchful eye of former BT Sport pundit Chris Hargreaves.

Scunthorpe dropped out of the EFL last season and host the Glovers for the first time since 2015.

The Alec Stock lounge will be available from 3pm on Saturday for fans to filter in and have a pre match beverage, there’s no need to book, just turn up and support the team from Huish Park.

The 5:20 kick off will also be covered on BBC Radio Somerset with Sheridan Robins and our very own Ben Barrett providing the audio… so however you’re watching, pop the TV on mute and dial in the radio as well…

Yeovil Town’s opening game of the 2022/23 season against Scunthorpe United has been selected by BT Sport for TV coverage.

Chris Hargreaves – a BT Sport pundit throughout the last couple of seasons – will lead his Glovers side into a competitive game for the first time on August 6th at Glanford Park.

The game will now kick off at 5:20pm – ticket and travel details will follow accordingly.

Yeovil Town’s match away at Chesterfield has been chosen for live TV Coverage on BT Sport.

The match a the “Technique Stadium” (fka, the Proact/b2net Stadium – catchy) on February 26th will now take place at the later time of 5:20pm.

The Spireites have won the last three head to head meetings, including a 3-0 win in North Derbyshire back in March, but Yeovil did win there back in 2019 thanks to goals from Myles Hippolyte and Rhys Murphy.

Matt Smith probably mispronoucing a stadium name

BT Sport have confirmed the first set of festive fixtures to be shown live on their channel and unfortunatley Matt Smith, Adam Virgo and co won’t be making a trip to Hush/You-ish/Weesh Park (depending on how they butcher the name this time) any time soon.

Wrexham are on TV (shock) for their December 11th home game against the part-time sandcastle builders from just down the A37 whilst we will tuck into our Boxing Day left overs whilst enjoying Bromley taking on Southend United on the 26th of December.

The confirmed list of TV Fixtures can be found below – correct at time of writing and subject to chage, with more games to be confirmed in due course for the missing dates in December.
